 Title VI Notice to the Public

SRT Malheur Express transportation gives public notice of its policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statues. Title VI requires that no person in the United States of America shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity for which SRT Malheur Express transportation receives Federal financial assistance. Any person who believes that s/he, individually, or as a member of a specific class of persons, has been subjected to discrimination, based upon race, color, national origin, or limited English proficiency, under any SRT Malheur Express transportation service, program or activity, has the right to file a formal complaint.

The mission of the organization is to provide services for the general public including seniors, low-income, and persons with disabilities in Malheur County and the surrounding areas to live healthy, meaningful, self-sufficient, and independent lives.

Area Office on Aging Senior Programs for Malheur County, we provided services with Older Americans Act & Oregon Project Independence funding.

The Older Americans Act (OAA) funds critical services that keep older adults healthy and independent—services that promote healthy aging like senior nutrition (congregate and home delivered meals), volunteer training, senior centers, caregiver support, transportation, health promotion, fall prevention, chronic disease training, elder abuse prevention, options counseling, and more.

Vale/Nyssa "Malheur Express - SRT" Commuter Service (Monday-Friday - Round-trip 3 times per week day)
"Saint Alphonsus has partnered with "MCOA&CS - Malheur Express - SRT" to provide medical rides from the cities of Vale & Nyssa.

Dial-A-Ride, we provide door-to-door transportation services in Malheur County, and the surrounding area.  Dial-A-Ride trips are scheduled in advance, and may include other passengers riding together going to different destinations.  

Please schedule your reservation at least 24 hours in advance to ensure your ride.  
Malheur Express operates lift-equipped vehicles to serve customers who require the use of a wheelchair, or have difficulty negotiating steps.

Snake River Transit - City of Ontario Bus,  we provide routed transportation services in the City of Ontario, in coordination with the surrounding cities of Vale, Nyssa and the nearby cities of Fruitland, and Payette, Idaho through standard routes.  

Please note, this is the City of Ontario fixed route service, so it is first come, first served, there are no reservations and the bus will leave without you if you are not at the designated stops on time.
